Good morning all, Parkstone Yacht Club autumn series race 8. After a pre rig rain shower it turned into another 'blue sky day' with a gentle westerly wind. First mark Morris Lane, off the line there was a slight split of opinion, most of the fleet went right, why didn't I think of that?. In the 6ers Rob led Stuart round the first mark to Piccadilly and then on to Rebbecks. The following beat to Wh1 saw Roberta moving back up the fleet with Emma Stuart and myself having some close racing before Roberta pulled away. The wind started to pick up on the reach to Piccadilly and then to a shortened course at Rebbecks. Rob won, followed by Roberta. Another fantastic day's sailing, many thanks to the RO and all his team.
