ILCA Youth Open 2025

We welcome participants and their families to our ILCA Youth Open which will be held on Sunday 15 June
For those who would like to make a weekend of it, we will be running training for members and visitors the day before the open meeting, and also providing the opportunity for non-member participants to launch and sail from Parkstone Yacht Club.

Saturday 14 June - Open Training
The fee is £35 for members and £46 for non-members (this includes £11 non-member slipway fee).

For visitors who would like to sail on Saturday but not take part in the training. you may launch from Parkstone Yacht Club but will need to pay a non-member slipway fee of £11.

Sunday 15 June - ILCA Youth Open
This is part of the ILCA UK Youth Series sponsored by Harken.
Racing will be held in Poole Bay, or Poole Harbour in the event of adverse weather.
Four races are scheduled with separate starts for ILCA4, ILCA6 and ILCA7.
We are grateful to ILCA UK who will be providing a coach to support sailors during the event.
Entry fee is £27.50.

Tea/ coffee and bacon butties will be served between 0830 and 1000
Tea/ coffee and cake will be served between 1000 and 1500
The bar will be open from 1200
Lunches will be served between 1200 to 1500. booking is recommended
Refreshments (included in entry fee) will be available for participants at tally when they come ashore after sailing
